Tamasin Ramsay
Tamasin Ramsay (born 1967 ?) is an Australian actress and anthropologist, having received her PhD from Monash University in 2009. Tamasin resides in Melbourne, Australia and travels regularly to New York (USA) and Rajasthan (India)〔(Tamasin Ramsay ) Personal website〕 in the service of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
==Acting career==
Her parents are Robin Ramsay and Barbara Ramsay (actress and critically acclaimed writer). Her paternal great-grandfather was William Ramsay, the originator of Kiwi shoe polish. As a child she worked as an actor, with roles in an ABC Television series, ''The Truckies''. At age 17, she was cast in the Australian television series ''Possession'' (1985).〔Elizabeth Riddell (At last a show for those who can't count ) ''The Sun-Herald'' 20 January 1985, p. 54〕 She played Princess Talitha in ''Return to Eden'' (1986), followed by roles in ''Prime Time'', ''Neighbours'' (1987), ''Darlings of the Gods'' (1989), ''Blue Heelers'' (2001),〔(Tamasin Ramsay interview ), at Neighbours: the Perfect Blend (Grundy Television Pty), 12 May 2007〕 ''Queen of the Damned'' (2002),〔(Queen of the Damned ) at IMDb〕 and a film produced and directed by her father, Robin Ramsay, ''Tao of the Traveller'' (2008).〔(Tao of the Traveller ) at IMDb〕
